After acquiring her first seal, she became fascinated by the artistry and craftsmanship in these small, detailed etchings, leading her to restore and re-frame them into wearable art. Through Seal Scribe, Shari sources these treasures from around the globe, restoring them with a blend of traditional and modern techniques, setting them in handcrafted gold and platinum designs. Shari's background includes degrees in Fine Arts and a 30-year career in International Relief and Development, serving across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. Her passion for collecting seals grew as a way to unwind after stressful assignments, and in 2016, Seal Scribe was born. The pandemic allowed Shari to focus on growing her business full time. Today, Seal Scribe offers unique, heirloom-quality jewelry that tells a story, transforming antique seals into timeless, wearable art meant to be cherished for generations.
