About the Item
A 1908 five dollar coin charm pendant. The coin consists of 21.6 karat gold and the pendant is made of 14 karat gold. On the reverse the obverse bears the portrait of an Indian chief with formal headdress, with the words LIBERTY at the top and the date 1908 at the bottom. Thirteen stars frame the left and right sides: 6 on the left and 7 on the right.
On the reverse the traditional American eagle is struck incisively in the center with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA at the top, E PLURIBUS UNUM to the left of the eagle and IN GOD WE TRUST to the right of the eagle. Below the eagle is struck the designation FIVE DOLLAR.
