This truly colossal 18k yellow gold Mid-20th Century French Wander designer pendant-brooch is certain to evoke a visceral response in any who see it. At a full 3 1/2 inches in length by 2 3/4 inches in width, it is destined to become a cherished signature piece for any buyer.
It can be worn as a brooch in the vertical position, horizontal position, or as a pendant. Wander is known for big, bold and substantial items and this wonderful jewel is absolutely no exception. It's undulating design and deep bark finish make an undeniably powerful impression. On the reverse, a plate bears the maker's name as well as FRANCE, and while not stamped 18k it tests solidly as such. It is equipped with a "rat-tail wire" for use as a pendant and with a pin, so that it can be worn as a brooch. Gross weight 72.30 grams.
