About the Item
A bold and sophisticated masterpiece of late 20th-century jewelry, this statement necklace was handcrafted by our master artisans in the late 1980s. Combining geometric rigor with vibrant organic textures, this piece perfectly embodies the opulent and "Art Deco-revival" aesthetic of that era.
The necklace is meticulously forged in 14k yellow gold and features a dramatic central motif. A circular ring of polished black Onyx serves as the focal point, adorned with three intricate fan-shaped gold elements. These architectural details are pavé-set with 0.85 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds and accented by 0.73 carats of vivid green Emeralds, creating a high-contrast palette of gold, black, and green.
The composition is further elevated by the inclusion of 4.40 grams of natural orange Coral. The coral is featured as two polished onyx barrel beads along the chain and a magnificent, large teardrop pendant that anchors the entire design. The warm glow of the coral beautifully complements the yellow gold, adding a touch of classic Mediterranean charm to a modern silhouette.
The necklace measures 41 cm (approx. 16.1 inches) from end to end. This is a one-of-a-kind artisanal treasure that represents the peak of Italian jewelry design from the 1980s.
