Rooted in ancient Vedic and Mughal traditions, this opulent Navratna pendant is a rare expression of balance, beauty, and spiritual symbolism. Hand-carved from rich mutton fat white nephrite jade, the centerpiece is studded with the nine sacred gemstones of the Navratna constellation—ruby, diamond polki, emerald, blue sapphire, yellow sapphire, coral, cat’s eye, hessonite, and pearl—each representing a celestial force. The centre jade is set in the frame made in 22K gold, the frame has been meticulously enamelled at the back in red and green hues, which is studded with all natural diamond polkis on the front.
Strung with radiant cultured pearls and vibrant emerald beads, this piece echoes the refined elegance of Islamic jewellery from the Mughal era.
The Navratna arrangement holds deep astrological and cultural significance across Middle Eastern and South Asian traditions—making this pendant not only a striking piece of luxury but also a spiritually resonant talisman.
