This is a magnificent Arts
Crafts Jugendstil Pendant Necklace in Silver with a gorgeous Rose De France Amethyst in the center and dating to circa 1900.
The central Rose de France Amethyst is a stunning round faceted gem of 12mm in diameter and 7.5mm deep and is approximately 5.5 Carats. I love the faceting in the elegant amethyst jewel. The Amethyst is set in a gorgeous ornate open work filigree pendant with three articulated pendant drops. The pendant has a heart motif throughout which adds to the romantic nature of the necklace. The pendant hangs from its original silver link chain which is gorgeous. The necklace has its original barrel clasp.
The necklace is 18 inches long.
The pendant is 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) long, and is 3.5 cm wide.
