Child God Horus
Harpocrates is the Greek name for the Egyptian child-god Horus (Har-pa-khered or "Horus the Child"), a deity representing the newborn, rising sun. Worshipped extensively in Ptolemaic and Roman Egypt, he was associated with his mother Isis, promising protection, new beginnings, and hope.
