Antique Swallow Pendant
Circa 1880
This Pretty, Victorian 15ct yellow gold swallow pendant is a lovely conversion from a brooch to a pendant. It is set with pretty, natural seed pearls through its rose gold wings. The body is yellow gold, with lovely feathered detailing. Swallows were said to represent love
faithfulness. Typically, items adorned with a swallow were gifted to a loved one when they set off to sea or war. It was a reminder of the love shared and a promise to return home safely.
The pendant measures approximately 23mm in height and the width 15mm
