About the Item
A stunning, fine and impressive antique 4.85 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and platinum set pendant; part of our Victorian pendant collection.
This stunning, fine and impressive Victorian pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The symmetrical interlacing, scrolling design is embellished with an impressive feature 0.95ct and 0.85ct Old European cut diamond, each claw set in slight relief to the central portion.
The scrolling frame of this impressive antique pendant is ornamented with a further seven impressive claw set Old European round cut diamonds, in addition to two collet set diamonds to the upper portion.
The ribbon style frame of the pendant is embellished with sixty-two pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European, mine and Dutch cuts.
The pendant suspends from an 18k yellow gold 18' curb chain via a contemporary plain tapering bale to the apex of the design.
This antique pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold and platinum.
This impressive pendant is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone in this gold Victorian diamond pendant.
Condition
This stunning pendant is excellent quality, set with impressive high colour graded feature diamonds displaying a fine white colour and brilliance; although clarity graded at P1, these diamonds display minimal inclusions visible to the naked eye.
The impressive supporting diamonds also display a fine white colour and brilliance.
The antique diamond pendant is an excellent gauge of gold and platinum and is in excellent condition.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique diamond jewellery/estate jewelry.
