An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Art Nouveau 4.76 carat turquoise and 15 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 15k yellow gold.
The feature pierced decorated, Art Nouveau style drop is ornamented with a collet set turquoise panel to the centre, accented with overlayed scrolling and vertical pale wirework.
The lower border of the design supports two articulating chains, each incorporating an independently collet set cabochon cut turquoise to the terminal.
The feature setting suspends via a yellow gold fancy chain, composed of alternating bar and arrays of trace links.
The turquoise pendant is hallmarked with the maker's mark for Murrle Bennett
Co (MBCo)* and 15k gold mark (15CT).
This impressive antique Art Nouveau pendant is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
* The jewelry manufacturers Ernst Murrle and J.B Bennett operated as Siegele
Bennett from 1884 advertising themselves as 'manufacturers and importers of British and Foreign jewelry'; importing pieces from Pforsheim as this was Murrle's origin. In 1896 they administered Murrle Bennet
Co until 1914 when the firm was purchased and continued trade in London under the name White Redgrove
Whyte. Murrle Bennett is widely known for their production of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts style jewelry; they bear connections with renowned craftsmen such as Liberty
Co, Archibald Knox and Theodore Fahrner.

This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold, in the iconic Art Nouveau manner*.
The pendant displays a central pierced decorated interlacing oval design ornamented with impressive hot enamel decoration, incorporating blue and green graduating tones.
This antique enamel pendant suspends from a 14ct yellow gold chain via two ring loops to the apex of the frame, and secures to the reverse with a conventional ring bolt clasp fastening.
The reverse surface of the Art Nouveau pendant is embellished with the contemporary engraved inscription 'To E.M.T. from W.E.F. 1st June 1910'.
This pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 18k gold mark (18CT) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold with a 14 karat gold chain.
NOTE:* This pendant reflects the iconic Art Nouveau gold and enamel jewellery designs of Liberty and Archibald Knox.
Condition
