About the Item
This antique Diamond and split Pearl star pendant is really something special!
Such a spectacularly mesmerizing piece with the elaborate Victorian star taking centre stage, your eyes are drawn to the pretty twinkling rose cut diamonds, giving the star it's sparkle and it really does sparkle beautifully.
The star is crafted in lush, rich bloomed gold with the front highlighted in the darkest Royal blue enamel, the star is set with regal, creamy cool split pearls and crisp rose cut diamonds, the combination working so well together.
The star is 19th century but is a brooch conversion and has been set into a 9kt yellow gold open oval pendant frame with a gold bale.
Such a beautiful piece, this would make an amazing gift or treat for the lover of celestial jewellery.
Shown in the image with one of our antique gold long chains, it does not come with a chain, the listing is for the pendant only, chains are available to purchase separately in the shop.
Marks and era:
Star is converted from a brooch, unmarked, 19th century, Victorian era and tested as 9ct gold, pendant frame and bale are modern contemporary and marked 9ct
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some very minor enamel loss on the star points but hard to notice.
