About the Item

Antique French Pendant/Locket in solid 18K Yellow Gold with micro-mosaic Cross ornaments on both inlayed with different semiprecious stones with great accuracy and precision. Stones that I easily recognize are Sun-stone , Blood-stone ,Black Onyx and parts in Blue Lazurite and Chalcedony or Moonstone. Sections for photos on both halves show round Blood-stone plates polished high gloss . Internal mobile hinged cover that can be moved left -right to tightly cover any of the halves. Original bezel set Glass prism Ø 20 mm x 1.5 mm thick. Made in France. Hallmarked with French 18K Gold standard hallmark, ca . late XIX - early XX century . Dimensions : Ø 23 mm x 10 mm deep . Weight : 9.2 grams Finest used /like new condition. Very secure / tight hinges and closure that close with a click.. Note: You buy just one pendant without chain. Polishing of the band is always a final step of any resizing but machinery used for polishing causes vibration that old rings (with prongs for example ) often do not like at all.
