About the Item
Imbued with the romance and refinement of the Victorian era, this antique pendant (circa 1860-1880) showcases a vibrant arrangement of deep red almandine spessartine garnets, their rich hue beautifully complemented by the subtle sparkle of rose cut diamond accents. The gemstones are set in gold-washed silver, lending the piece a warm, regal glow.
The pendant was thoughtfully reimagined by our jeweler, who transformed elements from a broken 19th-century necklace into a timeless jewel by adding a 14k gold bail. The result is a rare and wearable piece of antique art — one that carries the soul of the Victorian past into the present day.
The pendant measures 1.3 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom by 0.3 inches wide, weighs 1.6 grams, and remains in great condition.
The metal content has been verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring authenticity and quality.
