About the Item
Here we have gorgeous oversized Victorian locket. This antique piece has been crafted from a rich 18ct yellow gold into the shape of a plump love heart. Striking black onyx acts as the backdrop to an elegantly adorned floral motif at the centre. This design is embellished with chunky old mine diamonds which adds a touch of radiance to the intricate gold leaves and flower. The pendant is suspended from a matching decorative bail, also accented with diamonds which further enhances its luxurious appeal. A timeless piece from the mid Victorian era, this locket embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of the period.
Upon opening, the locket allows of for a duo of photographs or small intimate objects to be held within. The inside of this locket has been inscribed with the words:
'In memory of... May 18th 1874'
