About the Item
Celestial and symbolic, this antique crescent moon pendant (circa 1910) was originally a brooch, later transformed with the addition of a 14k gold bail for modern wear. The crescent is adorned with lustrous half pearls in graduated sizes, their soft glow accentuating the elegant curve of the design.
In Victorian and Edwardian jewelry, the crescent moon was a beloved motif, representing femininity, intuition, and new beginnings — making this piece as meaningful as it is beautiful.
