About the Item
This is simply an impeccable antique piece, a real heirloom piece stacked with beauty and symbolism.
The shamrock can be removed and worn as a brooch and has a removable brooch fitting.
The shamrock is made up from three lustrous natural saltwater pearls, the pearls had a verbal from the Gemmological society stating of natural saltwater origin.
The pearls are surrounded by rows of twinkling old and rose cut diamonds with a lovely sparkle in low light.
It is suspended from a short chain length and there is a Beautiful floral cluster of old cut diamonds providing further sparkle and shine.
It has a fine link chain necklace with a barrel clasp in 9ct Rose gold.
The brooch / pendant is stamped 18ct and is mounted in yellow gold and silver.
It comes in the original fitted case.
The Shamrock or clover has connections to good luck but this is usually the four leaved version, the three leaf clover is associated with Christianity and the Holy trinity.
Marks and era:
Marked 18ct on the brooch, and the chain tests as 9ct gold, 19th century, Victorian era, chain Edwardian.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, chain is a later replacement.
