About the Item
Elegant and distinctive, this charm began its life as an antique hat pin (circa 1890) and has been thoughtfully reimagined by our jeweler into a wearable pendant. The pin stem was carefully removed and replaced with a custom 14k gold bail, preserving its antique charm while enhancing its versatility.
The design features a finely detailed floral square of 14k gold, centered by a purple, foil backed rock crystal, a gem historically associated with clarity and protection.
The pendant measures approximately 1.1 inches from the top of the bail to the base by 0.8 inches wide, weighs 2.29 grams, and remains in excellent condition.
Its gold content has been professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming the authenticity of its 14k gold construction.
