About the Item
This luscious rock crystal pendant was created in the second half of the 19th century, judging from the silver mount around 1860/1870.
The locket is designed in the shape of an egg. Two identical oval rock crystal cabochons are mounted in silver. The silver shows traces of gilding. The locket and the rock crystal cabochons are in fine order. The locket is unmarked but tests as silver. The height indicated is with the eyelet.
