This substantial sterling silver Edwardian locket features beautiful decoration and impeccable craftsmanship, giving it a true heirloom quality. It would serve as a stunning and treasured keepsake to be passed down through generations. The main focal point of the locket depicts a charming summer scene, complete with the sun in the top corner, two birds perched in a tree, and delicate butterflies fluttering about.
The level of craftsmanship on this locket is truly exceptional. Every element, from the size and shape to the detailed wildlife scene has been expertly and painstakingly hand-crafted by skilled Edwardian silversmiths. The locket bears a Birmingham hallmark but the date letter has rubbed. Overall, this is a fabulous locket that is sure to captivate and delight.
The locket measures approximately 63.6mm in height (including the bail) and 39.5mm in width.
