About the Item
This wonderful silver niello locket is suspended from a double row silver foxtail necklace. The foxtail chains terminate in a silver element decorated on both sides with a flower in relief.. A swivel suspended from the silver element is holding the locket. The locket is designed as a book that has the shape of a shield. When opened up the locket reveals a a framed glas on either side. The front of the locket is decorated with 52 stars. In the center a silver shield is covered with the intertwined initials A W in script. The reverse of the locket is decorated with 72 stars. The loop attached to the locket is impressed with a silver hallmark, so are the swivel and the element with the applied flower.
