With its substantial size, ornate decoration, and impeccable craftsmanship, this sterling silver Victorian locket has a true heirloom quality. It would make a stunning and treasured keepsake to be passed down through generations. The main focal point of the locket is a beautifully detailed scene depicting a graceful stork standing amidst a bed of reeds. The bird is rendered in exceptional detail, with its long, slender neck and elegant feathers captured in sterling silver. Towering behind the bird is a magnificent palm tree, its fronds reaching up towards the sky. This adds a sense of lush, tropical scenery to the overall design.
