About the Item
This good size locket has been handcrafted around 1880 out of horn. The front shows fine lines typical for horn. Surrounded by fine lines the locket has been decorated with a flower wreath and an oval plaque. The design is executed in fine inlay work using metal, metal thread and mother of pearl . On the inside the locket has retained the black and white photograph of a soldier. A metal eyelet is attached to the pendant.
