About the Item
We are delighted to offer this striking Victorian 18K gold antique pendant. (Please note, this listing is for the pendant only and does not include the antique belcher chain. We will, however, include a contemporary 9ct solid gold lace so it is ready to wear out of the box). This statement piece presents an exceptional design with a reeded gold body on which a blue enamel ribbon cross is overlayed.
As a testament to the detailing and craftsmanship of the era, fine hand-engraved vertical lines can be seen beneath the blue enamel. In addition to the enamelling, 9 old rose cut diamonds accentuate the blue tone and sparkle wonderfully under natural light.
Diamond is known to be the birthstone of April. A very special gift to a lucky individual or as an indulgent gift to oneself. Perfect for wearing on special occasions and a conversation starter for antique jewellery lovers and those with an eye for distinguished style.
The pendant is marked with a French 'eagle's head' mark on the 'ball' which indicates a 750 (18K) gold content.
