We are delighted to offer this splendid late Victorian/early Edwardian flower necklace made c.1900 in 14ct solid gold. Classically elegant and distinguishing itself from contemporary pieces, this necklace features a very fine and intricate combination of scrolls, gold wiring and floral motifs accented with antique seed pearls. The necklace is in a three-tier design where the mid section moves freely from the top and a single larger pearl drop is suspended at the bottom. Such design not only demonstrates the impressive craftsmanship of this period but also comes truly to life upon wearing and embraces its floral and naturalistic theme. The pearls and antique gold tone compliment each other very well, serving as a versatile accessory to wear on many occasions whether be it a single statement piece or amongst other jewellery. Inoffensive in colour/tone yet regal in design and craftsmanship, this necklace might just be the perfect piece for the discerning antique jewellery lover with an appreciation for modest yet exquisite style and taste.
