About the Item
A Victorian treasure, this pendant features an 8-pointed star set with a central pearl and rose-cut diamonds surrounding. Stars were among the most popular jewelry motifs in the 1860’s, when this necklace hails from.
Everything about this pendant is classically Victorian, from the star to the enamel, the pearl and rose cut diamonds. Buttery, warm gold is the perfect finishing touch and beautifully offsets the royal blue enameling.
Fully tested to be 9 karat yellow gold, this pendant weighs 7.2 grams in total. The central pearl measures 4 mm and is surrounded by ten rose cut diamonds measuring between 1.05 - 1.95 mm, all G color/SI clarity. The enamel shows a small amount of wear with minor losses visible under close examination but not detracting from it’s beauty.
