About the Item
An antique 19th century gold pendant set with a bead and drop-shaped faceted garnet stones. The 14 karat gold cone-shaped cap is beautifully made by hand into a lovely openwork design at its border. The pendule swings freely when hanging on a necklace chain.
In 19th century these types of jewelry were very popular and were widely used in the regional dress in the Netherlands.
The pendant is in good condition. The garnet is a bit fair with little signs of use. Despite these small irregularities, the antique pendant is still very beautiful and perfect to wear on a chain
