Finely detailed antique Victorian amethyst
seed pearl pendant/brooch (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold by Krementz.
Oval faceted amethyst measures 21mm x 11mm (estimated at 9 carats). 64 seed pearls graduated in size from 1.5mm to 2mm.
The piece is made by Krementz, a renowned Newark, NJ maker of fine jewelry. The versatile piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant (the pendant sits in an east-west position). The rich royal purple amethyst is framed with a double row of seed pearls.
The pendant is in good original condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Weight: 3 grams
Stones: 12 old mine cut diamonds range in size from 0.03 to 0.20 carats and total an estimated 0.75 carats (estimated at H-I color and SI1-I1 clarity). 13 pearls range in size from 2mm to 3mm.

Measurements: The pendant measures 2 3/4 inches in length and 3mm wide.
