About the Item
This antique pendant is a fine example of mid-19th-century craftsmanship, designed in the romantic floral style that defined the Victorian era. The pendant features a domed cluster of bright rose-cut diamonds, set in silver over a 14 karat gold backing, a traditional technique used to enhance the brilliance of the stones while maintaining a warm gold reverse.
The front displays an intricate openwork floral motif, with delicate millegriffe silver detailing between the diamonds. A larger central rose-cut diamond forms the heart of the design, surrounded by smaller stones arranged in graceful, petal-like loops. The softly curved gold back has a grooved dome, typical of mid-Victorian jewelry construction, giving the piece both lightness and structure.
Dating from circa 1850–1880, this pendant beautifully captures the refined elegance of the Victorian period. The diamonds sparkle with a lively brilliance, and the pendant remains in very good antique condition. It comes without a chain.

This is an antique 19th century rose cut diamond pendant which can also be worn as a brooch. This oval-shaped brooch pendant is created with many bright rose cut diamonds set in a second grade silver and gold frame.
