About the Item
We are delighted to offer this enchanting antique Victorian turquoise and seed pearl cross pendant made in c.1890.
The pendant is set in solid 9ct gold with a slightly rose-gold hue and in the form of a cross.
Featuring an intervalic array of seed pearls and turquoise stones, it presents a lovely contrasted aesthetic whilst also displaying intricate goldsmithing/gem-setting. Each stone has been finely set with minimal spacing and mounts which culminates in a very delicate, elegant and blissful appearance.
The pendant could be worn as a standalone piece or with an array of other necklaces. It would most certainly grace a blouse in the summer or on top of a jumper in the cooler seasons, perfect for displaying your passion for fine antiques and rich with symbolism
Pearls are known to be the birthstone for June and turquoise for December.

The pendant is antique and unmarked as is common with articles of this period but tests as 9ct gold.
