About the Item
An art deco gem set brooch with emeralds.
Magnificent piece of jewelry, created during the art deco period, back in the 1930. This convertible pendant and brooch has been crafted in solid platinum .900/.999 and fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar with a security trombone lock to wear as a brooch. Can be wear as a pendant in a chain.
Diamonds Gemstones
All diamonds are gem quality, graduated in size and matched in E/F color and VS-1 / VS-2 clarity. They are perfectly mounted in prongs settings and some ones are in flush settings.
Marquise cuts: 14 graduated between 0.07 and 0.35, 2.24 carats.
Round brilliant cuts: 70 graduated between 0.03 and 0.30, 4.28 carats.
Baguette straight cuts: 35 graduated between 0.05 and 0.12, 2.45 carats.
Emeralds Gemstones: Mounted in prongs settings, with three rectangular faceted cuts (5 x 6 x 4.2 mm) of natural Colombian vivid green emeralds from the Muzo area, with a combined weight of 2.76 carats. The emeralds are not treated in any way.
Weight: 17.95 Grams, (11.51 Dwt).
Measurements: 45 mm by 46 mm (1.77 x 1.81 Inches).
Hallmarks: Tested for Platinum .900/.999 PL and Iridium .100/.999 IR.
Note: Muzo is a town and municipality in the western Bocaya province, part of the department of Bocaya, Colombia. It is widely known as the world capital of emeralds for the mines containing the world's highest quality gems of this type.

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
