Jeweled Art Deco Convertible Necklace-Brooch.
Beautiful, delicate and elegant piece from the American art deco period, made circa 1930's. Designed as a versatile convertible necklace to brooch, this was carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 Platinum and .100/.999 iridium. Is accompanied by the period 16.5 inches chain and suited at the reverse, with a double clips at the sides to remove and attach the chain and a hinged horizontal pin bar with a mechanical security lock to wear as a brooch.
Mounted, with exceptional white color less diamonds, all gradated, G/H color, VS-2 clarity, described as follow:
Prong set, with 44 round brilliant cuts (1.9 to 3.1 mm), 3.08 carats.
Chanel set, with 18 caliber into straight baguettes (2.1 to 4 mm), 0.90 carats.
Prong set, with 2 gorgeous Calf step cut (6 x 6 x 6 mm), 1.04 carats.
The main piece as a weight of 12.2 Grams and a measures of 46 mm by 28 mm (1.81 x 1.10 Inches). And the 16.5 inches chain has 2.8 Grams.
Calf Cut diamonds, are side stones which technically speaking are a modified rendition of the trapezoid, are a rare, unique, and alluring choice for jewelry. An exciting alternative to trillion cuts due to their increased depth. This uncommon cut calf cut diamonds can be the more costly in the market because they are harder to come by and the trimming procedure requires much skill and artistry.
Collateral: This piece is accompanied by a descriptive appraisal number 6402-E, dated October 8 2016, stating the gemstones cuts, measures, weights and specific characteristics.
