An art deco convertible pendant brooch with GIA certified diamond.
An statement piece, created during the American Art Deco period, back in the 1930. This beautiful convertible pendant-brooch, was carefully crafted with geometric patterns in solid .900/.999 platinum. The back of this brooch is fitted with a hinge bar which is removable by means of a screw, and the top with a retractable shackle to be worn as a necklace pendant on a chain. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined diamonds with all the settings finished with millegrain technique. Very delicate and feminine, this brooch is a great addition to your jewelry collection.
Diamond: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 marquise brilliant cut diamond of 0.89 carats, D color, SI-1 clarity. Gia Certified.
Diamond: Mount in bezel settings, with 20 Straight baguette cut (16) and French carre cut (4) diamonds, 1.38 carats, F color, VS-2 clarity.
Diamonds: Mounted in French pave settings, with 166 old European round and round single cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 1.70 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity. The settings are finished with impeccable millegrain patterns.
Weight: 17.3 Grams (11.09 Dwt).
Measurements: 47 mm by 21 mm (1.85 x 0.83 Inches).
Hallmarks: No marks, electronically tested for .900 platinum.
Note: Millegrain is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a GIA laboratory report, number 5221972229 stating the central diamond weight is 0.89 carats, D color and SI-1 clarity.
