Art deco graduated pearls necklace with diamonds.
This is a very elegant necklace, created in America during the art-deco period, back in the 1930's. The main decorative element of the necklace has been crafted in solid platinum, which is attached to a strand of eighty-eight size graduated round white pearls. The platinum parts are embellished with seventy-five earth mined natural diamonds and is fitted with a security boxed lock with an alternative double chain for extra safety.
Diamonds: Mounted in bezels and flat prongs settings, with 75 European round cut diamonds, 3.85 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.
Pearls: Mounted with an assortment of 91 cultured round white pearls, graduated between 3 mm to 7 mm;
Birthstone: Pearls for the month of June.
Weight: 23.40 Grams, (15,2Dwt).
Lenght: 18.5 (47 Cm) and can be shortened or enlarged.
Measurements: The main element is 56 mm by 50 mm (2.2 x 1.97 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's / designer's mark inside a triangle cartouche, the mark for the assay of the platinum and signed, "E&J PLAT".
Collateral: This necklace is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 166 gemstones are secured in their settings. This necklace has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
