About the Item
On both sides, the pendant features a relief with melons surrounded by blooming flowers and vines.
In the relief, a group of melons hangs on a vine, with leaves in between the melons.
The phrase “瓜瓞绵绵 尔昌尔炽” is a traditional Chinese expression. “瓜瓞绵绵” (gua die mian mian) refers to the prosperity of descendants, symbolized by the continuous growth of melons on a vine, suggesting a family’s lineage will flourish and continue unbroken.
The top of the pendant is adorned with an Art Deco white gold and diamond arrangement.
