Indulge in a stunning antique Art Nouveau pendant in the form of an exquisite woman or goddess in 14 Karat Gold and made by the superb maker Link
Angell. Link and Angell made of some of the most exquisite Art Nouveau gold jewelry in America. They were renowned for their gorgeous depiction of women which epitomize the Art Nouveau style. Beautiful Art Nouveau gold work defines this special piece with the maiden's swirling hair cascading about her face with the fabulous open work incorporated into the design. She wears a spectacular hair adornment. I love the passionate and emotional design of the woman which adds to the fascinating beauty of the jewel. The pendant dates to the Art Nouveau to Belle Epoque period, circa 1880 - 1910.
The pendant is 1 1/4 inches (30mm) tall including the bales. Without the bales it is 7/8 inch (23mm) tall. It is 28mm (just over an inch) wide.
The pendant is hallmarked 14K with the L
A mark of Link and Angell of Newark, NJ.
