About the Item
This is a love charm pendant crafted in 18K gold. Circa 1950.
The design of the pendant is created by French jeweller Alphonse Augis in response to the love poem written by Rosemonde Gerard. It depicts the signs of plus and minus. Together with the words they mark the line from the poem: "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" ("More than yesterday, less than tomorrow").
