About the Item
For sale is this "Plus qu'hier et moins que demain" love token. This love medallion of all love medallions was first created by the famous Lyon jeweller Alphonse Augis. He based this loving text on a poem of Parisian Rosemand Gérard. She wrote the poem in 1890 for her husband.
Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t'aime davantage,
Aujourd'huis plus qu'hier et bien moins que demain.
This vintage pendant is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold and is in-scripted with 'A. A' referring to the "inventor" of these stunning tokens. This wonderful charm with texture background and raised wraith halo stole our hearts the minute we laid eyes on it. And last but not least, this beauty is hallmarked with a French eagle head and a very recognisable Augis mark.
This beautiful pendant is a true sign of love and therefore the perfect gift for the one person you love most. Your favourite parent, wife, husband, partner, girlfriend, ... or yourself
