THIS IS A STUNNING MUSEUM QUALITY ANTIQUE SAPPHIRE, RUBY AND OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND PENDANT WITH EXQUISITE PINK AND ROBIN'S EGG BLUE GUILLOCHE ENAMEL. THE PENDANT IS 14 KARAT PINK GOLD. THE JEWEL DATES TO THE BELLE EPOQUE TO EDWARDIAN, ART DECO PERIOD, AND MAY VERY WELL BE BY FABERGE. IT IS A MASTERPIECE OF JEWELRY CONSTRUCTION WITH SPECTACULAR NATURAL MINED GEMS AND RADIANT ENAMEL WORK. THE ANTIQUE PENDANT DATES TO CIRCA 1850-1910.
The exquisite pendant is centered with an oval faceted natural mined ruby of approximately 1 Carat. The ruby has superb saturated red hues with very fine transparency. This is an elegant gorgeous ruby. Above the ruby are two circular cut natural mined sapphires. The exquisite sapphires have deep saturated blue color and very fine transparency. The sapphires and ruby are set on a robin's egg blue guilloche enamel ground with a radiant starburst pattern in the guilloche enamel. The top of the pendant has a garland motif in gold set with an Old Mine Cut Diamond, The garland sits atop a gorgeous pink enamel background. The pendant is substantial 14 Karat Pink Gold. It is 2 inches (52mm) tall and weighs 18.4 grams.
The museum quality jewel is very possibly unsigned Faberge. The colors of the enamel are the most coveted pastel blue and pink from the period. The gems are radiant luscious ruby and sapphires with superb color and a sparkling white Old Mine Diamond. The gold work in pink gold is of the highest quality.
The pendant is a treasure to be worn and enjoyed and to be passed on for generations.
The pendant is 2 inches (55mm) tall including the bales.
