THIS IS A CLASSIC BOOK FORM VICTORIAN PICTURE LOCKET PENDANT OR CHARM IN SOLID 14 KARAT GOLD WITH BEAUTIFUL NATURAL GOLDSTONE FRONT AND BACK!
The solid 14 Karat gold locket with Goldstone front and back in the form of an opening book is just classic and perfect. Goldstone is a natural mined gem that has a fabulous shimmering quality. It was very popular during the Victorian period and retains its immense appeal today.
The locket has a refined and elegant design featuring the shimmering gold stone. The locket opens to reveal places for two photos. The spine of the locket has wonderful details. The locket dates to the Victorian period, c1880-1910. The locket is a wonderful period jewel and so very hard to find with such classic simplicity. The locket comes from a prominent New York estate.
The locket is 19 mm (3/4 inch) tall not including the bales and 15 mm wide and 6 mm deep. With the bales the locket is 1 inch (27mm) tall.
The locket is 14 Karat gold.
