About the Item
Vintage 1950's hand carved shell cameo and pearl necklace. The center is a hand carved Greek revival style old shell cameo circa 1900's, set in a 14k yellow gold bezel set frame with handmade embroidery. Attached are 5 strands of undyed, natural color well matched Japanese cultured pearls. White with light crème overtones. Very good luster. The coloring of the cameo and pearls makes them a perfect match. The artist of the cameo is an unknow 1900's artist. Freshly restrung. 16 inches in length.
