There are 2 certificates for this natural jadeite. The lines and details of this piece are outstanding. This natural imperial jadeite Jade used in this pendant is a highly transparent with excellent green color saturation. The pendant is set in 18k white gold with one heart shaped pink tourmaline 0.51cts and one round brilliant white diamond 0.09cts. The bubble gum pink tourmaline against the bright imperial green creates a great color contrast.
Fish in Chinese sounds like the word abundance or prosperity, therefore the fish motif were often used in carvings. An 18k white gold chain will be included in this sale. Photos does not do this pendant justice. This would be a great gift for that special someone and a collector's item. Please refer to the many high definition photos for more details. The total length of the whole pendant is about 4 x 1.5 cm.
IMPERIAL JADE
The term “imperial jade” is often misused in many jade sale listings because true imperial jade is extremely rare and expensive.
True imperial jade must have BOTH a strong saturation of green AND a high degree of translucency. Natural Material meeting both of these conditions is very uncommon and hardly seen. Color saturation and translucency are indirectly proportional. Material with a stronger saturation of color is more dense and less translucent. The opposite holds true as well.
