An Italian necklace chain with Colombian emeralds.
This is a beautiful modernist necklace chain-pendant created in Italy. Crafted as a single beads chain with a dangle three-stones pendant in solid white gold of 14 karats with high polished finish. The pendant is embellished with three graduated translucent Colombian emeralds from the mines of Muzo and the chain is fitted with a security spring ring lock.
Emeralds: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 3 graduated faceted squares cuts of natural Colombian vivid green emeralds from the Muzo mines. The emeralds have an estimate combined weight of about 1.65 carats.
Colombian Muzo Emeralds
The emerald displayed in this ring, is from the Muzo region in Colombia, have great color saturation, is vivid green and transparent with no inclusions. Muzo is a town and municipality in the western Bocaya province, part of the department of Bocaya, Colombia. It is widely known as the world capital of emeralds for the mines containing the world's highest quality gems of this type.
Birthstone: Emeralds for the month of May.
Weight: 3.95 Grams, (2.55 Dwt.).
Measurements: The pendant is 20 mm by 8 mm (0.79 x 0.32 Inches).
Length: The chain is 15 Inches, (38.1 Cm).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .585/.999 gold and signed as follows, "GD ITALY 14KT".
Collateral: The Colombian emeralds necklace is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 3 emeralds are secured in the settings. This necklace chain was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
