Old necklace made of yellow gold (470 fineness) and silver elements. Two main diamonds in old brilliant cut, together approx. 0.40 ct, and 9 smaller diamonds in rose cut and brilliant cut weighing 0.20 ct.
A "negligee" necklace is a type of chain on which an element is suspended from which two ornaments, usually in the shape of drops, hang at unequal lengths. Popular type of jewelry at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
