An early Victorian topaz and diamond brooch/pendant, to the centre a cushion-cut orange topaz measuring approximately 8.2 x 6.2mm, cut-down set in yellow gold collet with closed back, surrounded by a diamond-set scroll design frame, suspending a pear-shaped drop, centrally-set with a pear-shaped topaz measuring approximately 8.2 x 5.7mm, surrounded by old mine cut diamonds, the old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 4 carats in total, all mounted in silver and gold, with gold brooch fitting and foldable pendant loop, circa 1860, measuring 5.1 x 2.7cm, gross weight 12.8 grams.
This antique pendant/brooch is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as silver and 15ct gold, with 15ct gold brooch fitting and 18ct gold pendant loop.

Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. At the heart of the piece is an exquisite cushion-cut orange topaz embraced by a shimmering array of diamonds within a gracefully crafted scroll design frame. Suspended from this centre piece is a beautiful pear-shape drop, adorned with a central orange topaz, its gentle hue accentuated by the radiant old mine cut diamonds set around it. This ingenious piece exudes elegance and sophistication.
