About the Item
This Edwardian masterpiece, made of over 100 diamonds, features a detachable pendant-brooch with a European-cut diamond, measuring 7.37 - 7.25 x 4.56mm and weighing approximately 1.50 carats, framed by European mine and single-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 2.00 carats, supporting a drop highlighted by a European-cut diamond measuring 6.57 - 6.59 x 4.78mm and weighing approximately 1.30 carats, accented by European, mine and Swiss-cut diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.50 carat.
The pendant-brooch is suspending from a necklace enhanced by European and mine-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 3.70 carats, set in platinum-topped 18k gold, completed by a white metal chain, which is not original to the rest of the necklace.
The pendant-brooch has a fold down pendant bail as well as a detachable brooch frame that may be removed to wear as a pendant. The necklace may be worn on its own without the pendant or with another added on as there is a concealed pendant wire on the reverse.
