About the Item

An Edwardian opal and diamond pendant, the central circular opal is surrounded by old brilliant-cut diamonds in a platinum millegrain setting suspended from a diamond-set bow attached to a white gold chain, circa 1910, the pendant measuring 3.4x1.8cm, gross weight 6.1grams. This exceptionally fine Edwardian pendant comes from the collection of Bentley Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This piece features a circular central opal that shines with shades of fiery orange, deep blue, and purple. The opal is surrounded by a frame of sparkling diamonds which is suspended from a lovely diamond-set bow. The diamond-set bow is a typical feature of Edwardian jewellery, while the colourful opal adds vibrancy and contrast to the diamonds. This elegant piece would pair well with a silk evening gown. Should you choose to make this purchase we will delighted to send it to you in a Bentley Skinner handmade leather case packed in a gift-wrapped Bentley Skinner black and gold presentation box. Shortly afterwards we will send you on a valuation for insurance purposes for your reference and safekeeping.
