THIS IS A STUNNING VICTORIAN - ART NOUVEAU - BELLE EPOQUE FESTOON NECKLACE WITH THE MOST GORGEOUS NATURAL ROUND FACETED PERIDOT GEMS SET WITH PEARLS AND AN OLD MINE DIAMOND IN A GORGEOUS FLOWER MOTIF FESTOON SWAG DESIGN IN 14 KARAT GOLD. THE NECKLACE DATING TO CIRCA 1900.
This is one of the most beautiful festoon necklaces we have seen. The extraordinary Peridot gems are a sparkling green.
They are surrounded by a halo of pearls. In the center hangs a beautiful flower with an Old Mine Cut Diamond center and Baroque Pearl petals. The necklace is further adorned with the pearls that are set along the gold chains. The festoon necklace drapes beautifully around the neck.
The design is full of the delicate romance of the age and is so special with the flower motifs, the green peridot gems and the white pearls with diamond!
The necklace is 15.5 inches (39cm) long. The necklace can be easily extended if desired.
The pearl flower is 18mm by 16mm.
The central peridot is 7mm in diameter and approximately 1.25 Carats.
The necklace is 14 Karat Gold.
