This is an antique 19th century rose cut diamond pendant which can also be worn as a brooch. This oval-shaped brooch pendant is created with many bright rose cut diamonds set in a second grade silver and gold frame. The diamonds are placed throughout the brooch set in a silver mounting, mille griffe work is created on the openwork rim. The back of the pendant is made of 14 karat gold and so is the pin closure which is attached in a later period to the pendant. The lovely design of the pendant is reminiscent of a blooming flower.
