About the Item
A spectacularly unique piece from the famed jewelry designer Eric de Kolb, this pin/pendant sports eight human figures - perhaps Greek or Roman gods? - arranged in a circle around a central textured motif, the figures separated by gold spikes. The jewel measures 3 3/4" up and down by 2 3/4" across. Stamped Eric de Kolb 14 K on the interior. Eric de Kolb was an Austrian born surrealistic artist and designer and worked extensively in the USA, where he died in 2001. His pieces are instantly recognizable by collectors worldwide. We particularly like the depth of the figures and their naturalistic poses.
