Classic Georgian period 3.7TCW Old Mine cut diamond 18K yellow gold cross
19th Century
Composed of eleven G-H-I Old Mine cut diamonds with the center stone measuring approximately .45 carats. Each of the diamonds in this spectacular cross is slightly different, unique in its beauty, giving this cross a aesthetically desirable natural form. Set in 18K yellow gold with a hinged generous bale at the back allowing for wear with a wide chain or a silk ribbon, as was fashionable in the 19th century. The back may also be fitted with a pinstem for wear as a brooch if desired.
Heirloom quality, to be treasured for generations.
